Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model hailing from the United States. Shooting to fame for his roles as a character in Road Trip he has since played in more than 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. In addition, he's appeared in over 22 shows, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma since he was 14 years old. The cancer relapsed after two years. The treatment, however, in such a short time caused a significant impact on his body and thwarted his growth. When he first started to take action, financial stability seemed like his ultimate goal. He had been in poverty throughout his early years. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle over the years that I need to have that financial security or my life feels beyond my control, he stated in an interview. He also looks back at his own childhood and wants to take action on the issue of bullies. He is a victim of cruelty and is heartbreaking for him. The ideal character for him in films and in life is that of father. The director doesn't choose him for these roles however, he claims. In the future, he'd love to have a baby in order to be able to dedicate more time in order to spend more time with the newborn.
